What a disappointment. Not everyone is an experienced patchworker, we all have to start somewhere. I took a friend today who is a beginner and wanted the products to help her. She wanted to buy rulers, cutting mats, rotary cutter etc. There were a few templates but nothing except miles and miles of fabric. This was opportunity missed for someone. We joined a group for coffee and they were disappointed also. Please bear this in mind in future. There aren’t the stockists locally so where do you obtain “haberdashery” products.
Hi Sheila
Many thanks for taking the time to give your feedback on our event, it is much appreciated.
I am very sorry to learn that you and others felt disappointed. By way of explanation but no means excuse, the event is now in its 15th year and always has had a strong emphasis on the selling of fabric which as you know is reflected in the name of the event.
Having said that, you are quite correct in pointing out that currently, there isn’t a trader who focuses on quilting rulers, cutting mats and other notions. I intend to rectify that if I can for our next event in 2020.
I would like to contact you again later in the year to let you know how I get on if that is ok. If you would like to contact me directly, you can email me at nantwichfabricsale@hotmail.com
Thank you again for your suggestion and for attending this year.
Very best wishes,
Tracy Fox
