📢 Not To Be Missed!

👀 Make sure you visit the gorgeous Sefton Park Palm House to see the sure to be impressive exhibition by Contemporary Threads which starts this Saturday!

The exhibition will celebrate the Palm House’s 125th birthday and the 20th anniversary of its restoration which is definately a reason for celebration.

This workshop will help you create a surface, bonding fabrics, foils, organza and stitch to produce a piece of art or a surface fabric to make into something and it’s suitable for anyone who can use a sewing machine.

Knowledge of free motion embroidery on a machine is an advantage but not essential.

You will need to bring your own sewing machine and some basic sewing items (requirements list will be provided). Specialised foils and fabrics will be provided – although you may wish to bring some of your own fabrics if you want to use specific colours.

All specialised fabrics included.

Join the talented Diane Moore, Textile Artist, who will introduce you to the many different types of soluble fabric and how to create lace or art pictures.
